Moving forward, floating ahead

When it is all about trying to make a difference in a positive way, there is a lot which needs to be done throughout our lifespan. In fact, when we move forward in the right direction in life with full knowledge of what needs to be done, it has a positive impact on everything around us. It is important to know what it takes to live a happy and healthy life with our family and friends while embracing and enriching the goodness of our society. The external circumstances and changing situations cannot be ignored while we plan for the road ahead for our career progression and growth. It is not only about what technology we need but also about implementing it effectively and utilizing it smartly wherever precisely required to address real-life issues and complexities so that to make our life easier and to prevent wastage of time. It is equally important to be practical enough to make the right decisions on time and to act accordingly as per the need of the hour to obtain the desired results.

Open schooling for school dropouts

NIOS provides a good platform for school dropouts to complete their Class X and Class XII examinations in the most flexible manner. You can register online while paying from your online banking card and pay the examination fees as well during the specified dates at the click of a mouse. You have to submit the assignments to your study centre within the first month of receiving your study materials and go through the materials properly to pass the examination. Do not forget to submit your practical notebook(s) wherever applicable during the practical examination(s). Also, opt for maximum subjects while enrollment as pass in any 5 subjects is sufficient to pass the examination. Keep your NIOS ID Card safely and download your hall ticket online before the examination. Answer sheets can either be rechecked or reevaluated (for Class XII) if the marks obtained are not satisfactory. It is a safe option to collect the study materials from previous year’s students in advance as the study materials may come only 3/4 months prior to the examination which may not provide you with sufficient time for preparation. You can also access the online study materials at home if you have your own PC.

Formal education deserves priority

School Girls before Exams
Our systems for career progression and growth are developed on the platform of formal education. It is because of the systems that we need to work on upgrading and updating our qualifications seriously. Irrespective of the fact that we may not like the teaching methodologies or the environment of the educational institutes, there is no way to blame the systems as nothing will change by doing so. Instead, we should get enrolled into institutes/ courses of our choice and concentrate on our career accordingly.

Why students fail...

Students fail because they do not study...

They do not study due to any or all of the following reasons:
  • Lack of interest in the subjects
  • Unwilling to work hard
  • Inability to understand of what is written in the textbooks
  • They don’t have the environment to study
  • Couldn't find sufficient time to devote
Family support is very important in the development and wellbeing of young minds. Lack of a proper family platform may lead to adverse consequences.

Teachers are the main motivation not exams. Our educational institutes should understand this and deal with their students carefully.

Proper career planning is required from the school level to identify one’s learning requirements depending on personal interests and strengths.
